A simple random quetion generator that randomly selects an image and teammate. This was also hosted in a raspberri pi 2 using nginx which was a fun setup experience.
A simple weather app that uses the OpenWeatherMap API to fetch my weather data from my current location. It also pulls the icon as well which is a nice addition. Next thing I plan on adding to it is clothing recommendations based on the weather.
Initially I wanted this website to the OpenAI API to generate the dad jokes. However, I noticed that the jokes were quite limited and subpar, which was is not the definition of a dad joke. Instead, I decided to use icanhazdadjoke API which was much better. The screenshot on the landing page is also made by using Midjourney and blend 3 of my colleagues (that are dads).
